In this role, you will be responsible for leading a shift production line team within the company’s plant to ensure output targets are met safely, efficiently, and in accordance with strict quality specifications. Details of Key Responsibilities :
- Ensure the availability of raw materials and packaging materials to support uninterrupted operations.
- Assign tasks and manage workforce activities in line with operational requirements.
- Oversee receiving, pasteurization, homogenization, and packaging processes.
- Monitor production line performance and take prompt action to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with product quality specifications, GMP, HACCP, and food safety requirements.
- Review laboratory results and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Monitor line efficiency, production rates, yield, and waste reduction initiatives.
- Lead, coach, and develop production staff while maintaining workplace discipline.
- Manage shift schedules, attendance, and manpower allocation.
- Coordinate with Maintenance to address equipment breakdowns and ensure operational readiness.
- Support preventive maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability.
- Enforce health, safety, and environmental requirements, including proper PPE usage
- Investigate operational incidents and implement preventive measures.
- Prepare and review daily production reports covering production output, waste, downtime, efficiency, and corrective actions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and operational performance.
Required Qualifications :
- What We’re Looking For • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Dairy Technology, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in dairy, food, beverage, FMCG, or manufacturing operations.
- Previous experience leading production teams in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of dairy processing and packaging operations.
- Working knowledge of GMP, HACCP, food safety, and quality systems.
- Experience in production planning, performance monitoring, and KPI management
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
